Before you get started using Facebook for business to promote your real estate practice, it's a good idea to read up on it and understand exactly what it does and is. Let's go to the Facebook business page. You can get there by typing in facebook.com/business.
At the very top, you have the ability to get started. That is going to bring you to an overview. You will see options such as "drive in-store sales", "increase online sales", "launch a new product", "build awareness", etc. There are many different things you can click on and read. As a real estate agent, you will want to look into the "build awareness" section.
You can view their solutions page. Here you can click on overview, pages, advertising, etc...
Next is the success stories. This is an interesting thing where you can actually go through and read certain use-cases of how different businesses and brands are using Facebook for business. If we scroll down we can find one that is applicable to real estate. You can see what type of strategies they're employing. What types of things work, what don't. This is a great place to read up on other people.
The "get help" section is pretty self-explanatory. If you are not finding the answers you are looking for, you can also go to the community help section and ask questions about Facebook for business that are unique to you, and hopefully somebody will help you out.
Let's give it a try: when I type in "real estate agent", I get solutions relevant to our business.
I highly recommend you explore this page more and check out the different resources that Facebook has put together. It will prove to be a great resource as you continue to build your online community and generate great leads for your real estate endeavor.
